Park Avenue Elementary teacher wins teaching award of excellence

WARWICK — Cathy Hobart, Park Avenue Elementary School kindergarten teacher, who has been selected as a recipient of the Mid-Hudson School Study Council Award of Excellence - 2017 Dean's Award for Excellence in Teaching from SUNY New Paltz.
Hobart will be honored at the Mid-Hudson School Study Council Award for Excellence event in the fall.
"This event, and the honor awarded to Mrs. Hobart, will be a source of pride for Park Avenue and the district as we begin a new school year," Warwick Valley school officials said in the press release announcing the award.
