Parade by day, fireworks at night

Photo by Ed Bailey The Greenwood Lake annual 4th of July parade was held on the morning of July 5. The marchers - or floaters, perhaps - included members of the Greenwood Lake American Legion Arthur Finnegan Post 1443.

A birthday party was held on the lawn of John Tracy for his wife Marilyn Hayden-TracyþÄôs birthday during the Greenwood Lake 4th fireworks Sunday evening. The party-goers enjoyed the fireworks and lawn dinner while watching the Greenwood Lake show. The home of the TracyþÄôs was used by Director Bob Reiner in the filming of the movie þÄúThe Magic of Belle Isle.þÄù

GREENWOOD LAKE — The people of the Village of Greenwood Lake knows how to enjoy the Fourth of July weekend.
On Sunday, the village's annual Independence Day parade drew crowds who cheered for the marchers and so many things American.
And Sunday evening, the village's annual fireworks display drew crowds who cheered for each fiery display, and so many things American.
