In preparation for this Easter Sunday, Holy Week began April 1 with Palm Sunday, which commemorates Jesus triumphant entry into Jerusalem. During the Palm Sunday Masses celebrated at the Church of St. Stephen, the First Martyr, traditional palm leaves were distributed to everyone. And at the beginning of the Mass, children were invited to join in a procession inside the church as the priest blessed palms held by all those in the congregation. Among those receiving their palms were from left, Zoe Link, 6, her brother Nathan, 3 and sister Olivia, 7.
