Palm Sunday

In preparation for this Easter Sunday, Holy Week began March 24 with Palm Sunday, which commemorates Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. During the Palm Sunday Masses celebrated at the Church of St. Stephen, the First Martyr, traditional palm leaves were distributed to everyone. Kaitlyn Fenton, 12, and David Tilton, 9, were among many of the children who transformed their palms into crosses.
