Orange County GOP candidates file 2018 state and local petitions for November elections

    ALBANY — The Orange County Republican Committee and the 2018 state and local candidates filed thousands of signatures from Republicans, Conservative, Independence and Reform Party voters from every corner of Orange County.
    The candidates are:
    • Sheriff Carl DuBois for re-election.
    • Surrogate Court Judge Robert Onofry for re-election.
    • Annie Rabbitt (42nd Senate District) and Tom Basile (39th Senate District) as New York State senators.
    • Karl Brabenec (98th Assembly District), Colin Schmitt (99th Assembly District), Brian Miller (101st Assembly District) and Scott Manley (104th Assembly District) as New York State Assembly members.
    “The tremendous effort by our Republican Committee Members, volunteers and the candidates themselves is the first step toward resounding victories in November,” Orange County GOP Chairwoman Courtney C. Greene said in the press release detailing the effort. “Strong candidates who share our values and dedicated volunteers are the key to success, and I am confident that we have both and will be celebrating on November 6th.”
