Orange County Conservatives endorse Sweeton, Gerstner, Kowal and DeAngelo for re-election
WARWICK — The Orange County Conservative Party has endorsed the incumbent Town of Warwick officials in their bid for re-election in November.
Supervisor Michael Sweeton, Councilmen Jim Gerstner and Russ Kowal as well as Town Justice Nancy DeAngelo were all endorsed to carry the Conservative party standard in the fall. All four also will be on the Republican line.
“Mike Sweeton, Councilman James Gerstner and Russell Kowal as well as Town Justice Nancy DeAngelo have all served our community well," said Warwick Conservative committeeman Pat Murphy in the press release detailing the endorsements. "Their solid record of fiscal conservatism, strong efforts to ensure public safety and streamlining government have earned them the continued support of our party.”
Sweeton commented: ”The team of myself, Councilmen Gerstner and Kowal as well as Town Justice Nancy DeAngelo are very proud and humbled by the faith the Conservative party has placed in our leadership here in Warwick. We believe our commitment to less government, low taxes, preservation of our quality of life and delivery of efficient services remains true to conservative principles.”
