Orange County Chinese School opens Sept. 14

    CENTRAL VALLEY — The Orange County Chinese School opens Saturday, Sept. 14 at the Central Valley Elementary School, providing Chinese language (Mandarin) courses to children and adult students in the Hudson Valley region.

    The school describes itself as is a premiere Chinese language institute in the Hudson Valley area. The qualified and experienced Chinese teachers create schedules that allow students to go beyond the classroom and experience Chinese conversation first-hand. The students will also have opportunities to learn more about Chinese culture during class sessions and on field trips, according to the school’s press release announcing the 2013-14 program.

    OCCS offers group lessons in Mandarin Chinese, beginner through advanced levels, in small classes that focus on practical, spoken Mandarin that maybe use socially, for work or for travel.

    The programs include:
    Mandarin Chinese programs for all levels from beginner to advanced

    Interactive Chinese for beginners

    Intensive Chinese courses
    Business Chinese classes

    Corporate Chinese language training

    Survival Chinese for vacation
    Registration:

    All parents must come to OCCS to register their child for the 2013-14 school year. Registration will be taking place Sept. 14 and 21 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
