‘Operation Christmas Child’

Calvary Christian Academy students in Stacey Waring’s third and fourth grade class collected 12 shoe boxes filled with toys, socks, toothbrushes and other small personal items for “Operation Christmas Child.” Children from around the world receive these boxes, which are often the only Christmas gifts a child will receive. “Operation Christmas Child” is a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse, run by Franklin Graham, son of evangelist Billy Graham.
