    WFD Auxiliary host blood drive on Oct. 26WARWICK — On top of the recent wild fires, horrible storms and the tragic events in Las Vegas, there are more fires devastating California.
    Please consider donating blood to help replenish the already critically low blood supply. If you can't donate, please share this information with friends, family, and neighbors:
    • Thursday, Oct. 26, 2:30 to 7 p.m.
    • Warwick Fire Department Station #1 – 25 Church St. Extension.
    • Bring photo ID. Eat and drink before donating.

    Brush disposal available to Village of Warwick residentsWARWICK — The Village of Warwick will again have the brush disposal program. The site will be opened every weekend in October and November from 12 to 4 p.m.
    A valid picture ID showing village residency will be required at the site.
    The disposal area is located at the Village of Warwick Department of Public Works site in Memorial Park.
    No commercial operators will be permitted.
    Brush cannot exceed 6 inches in diameter.
    Bagged leaves will be accepted (paper only).
    No grass clippings will be allowed.
    Village of Warwick leaf pick-up begins Nov. 1WARWICK — Now that fall is here the Village of Warwick Public Works Department will begin picking up leaves on Nov. 1.
    Village officials ask each and every homeowner or tenant to put their leaves in paper bags; plastic bags will not be picked up.
    Bags may be placed at curb anytime between Nov. 1 and Dec. 12
    Bagged leaves may also be taken to the village brush pile every weekend in November between noon and 4 p.m.
    Overnight parking rules take effect Nov. 1WARWICK — The parking of vehicles is prohibited on all highways within the Village of Warwick between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. from Nov. 1 until April 1, 2018.
