New steeple tops Calvary Baptist Church

Workers position a new steeple atop Calvary Baptist Church located at 5 Wisner Road in Warwick. The original steeple had been damaged in October 2012 during Hurricane Sandy and had been removed after the storm. The new steeple is made of steel, covered with fiberglass. It is 28 feet tall. It consists of two pieces, the base and the spire, with a combined weight of between 600 and 700 pounds.
