WARWICK — Hosts Tony Sylaj and Nick Ahmetaj of Grappa Ristorante and coordinators George Laurence and Kevin Ege have just completed booking for the 10th season of Railroad Avenue's Music in the Courtyard series.

Thanks to the contributions and efforts of the Village of Warwick downtown and Railroad Avenue businesses, Music in the Courtyard will begin its tenth season next Thursday, May 22, with a performance under the stars from 7:00 - 9:30 p.m.

Until Thursday, Sept. 11, talented musicians will be performing every Thursday evening from 7:00 - 9:30 p.m. And beginning Sunday, May 25, through Sunday, September 14, performances will be held on every Sunday afternoon from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

There may also be special programs during the season that will be announced.

"If you have never attended these musical sessions," said Laurence, "please feel free to come and enjoy the surroundings, the music and camaraderie that has made these mini concerts an intrinsic and successful part of the Warwick community over these past 10 years."

Printed schedules are available at the Eclectic Eye on Railroad Avenue.

Music in the Courtyard is funded by sponsors and private individuals and has been supported solely by cooperating merchants, interested residents and Grappa Ristorante as the host.

Laurence explained that continued community support is essential to enhance the special nature of these events.

Anyone wishing to participate or contribute can call Laurence at 239-2660.
