WARWICK — Mount Peter Ski Area’s fourth annual Winter Carnival on Sunday, Feb. 24, was another huge success.
The event raised $4,000 and still counting for Team Mount Peter, which will participate in the 2013 Avon Breast Cancer Walk. In New York, that event has been scheduled for Oct. 19-20.
On Feb. 24 an early morning fog lifted just in time for families to enjoy skiing and snow boarding along with food and refreshments while participating in carnival games, raffles, contests and musical entertainment.
“A big thank you to all who came out and supported Team Mount Peter - helping raise money for breast cancer research,” said Team Captain Amy Richardson.
