More than a slice

WARWICK — The heart of downtown Warwick is home to Frank's Pizzeria and Restaurant, 64 Main St., where the Rinaldi family has been making homemade - and hometown - pizza for more than 40 years.
They first opened their doors in 1976 and have been serving pizza seven days a week ever since.
On Thursday, Aug. 23, Town of Warwick Supervisor Michael Sweeton and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce along with business neighbors joined owners Frank and Matt Rinaldi and his wife, Kara, to celebrate the 42 years of the family pizzeria.
Tradition and communityIn addition to being a Warwick institution, the restaurant is a family tradition.
The Rinaldi family has been in the pizza business for three generations.
Community support, from sponsoring local children's and adult sports teams to offering aid when it's needed, is also deeply rooted in the history of the business.
"Our loyal customers have kept us going, sustaining us through good times and challenging times," said Matt Rinaldi. "We are here to serve and preserve our way of doing our job which is trying to make the best pizza in town."
He added that online ordering with partner Slice.com helps the restaurant stay connected to millennials and moms on the run getting dinner for their family
"Frank's Pizza," said Rinaldi, "is meeting the needs of our community, because our customers deserve no less then our best."
EssentialsFrank's Pizzeria is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Sunday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
