Monroe resident Patricia Green named Hudson Valleys top nurse

Patricia Green of Monroe, a registered nurse at St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick, has been named the Hudson Valleyís top nurse.
WARWICK Registered nurse Patricia Green of St. Anthony Community Hospital was honored during National Nurses Month as the top nurse in the Hudson Valley.
Green, a Monroe resident, was selected from a field of 20 nurses from a seven-county region. The annual competition is a program of Hudson Valley Magazine, which featured the finalists in its May issue, calling them guardian angels, miracle workers, friendly faces and lifelines in time of crisis.
The finalists were selected by the magazines editors and medical professionals.
Green was honored May 9 at Hudson Valley Magazines Excellence in Nursing Awards at the Grandview in Poughkeepsie. The event coincided with National Nurses Week.
