Marie Luca appointed coordinator of Warwick's Friendly Visitor Program

— At its recent January board meeting, the Board of Advisors for Warwick’s Friendly Visitor Program welcomed Marie Luca in her new role as coordinator.
Luca recently assumed the role of coordinator of the program after serving as an active volunteer during the early months of the program’s operation.
Luca is a retired educator who has an interest in giving back to her community.
Luca will continue to attend the monthly FVP board meeting in her new capacity as coordinator. She is receiving training in her role from Jewish Family Service as part of the partnership that exists with the Town of Warwick, Jewish Family Service and the Office for the Aging.
In time, Luca will be networking with all the volunteers as well as those receiving the services that the program offers.

March 5 and May 7 are the next the two-hour training opportunities. They will be held at the Albert Wisner Public Library.
