Love Grows Child Care graduation

WARWICK - On Wednesday, June 25, graduates celebrated First Steps Achievement at a college style graduation ceremony with more than 40 family members and friends in attendance.
The graduates, Parker Walters, Peter Fernandez and Julia Cartagena, entertained the audience with the reciting of the opening prayer, singing of the national anthem and passing of the flag to the next group of graduates.
Owner and director Cecelia Cenot presented each graduate with a plaque with their name and a description of each letter, a photo cup, certificates of accomplishment, and books donated by Union AME Church, for summer reading.
“Setting the standard of expectation is of paramount importance for our youths,” said Cenot. “They go into kindergarten with a sense of accomplishment and a desire to do more and be more. At an early age, they leave this first phase of their lives with an eagerness to learn, a sense of purpose, knowing there’s much more knowledge awaits them.”
