Reenactors from the Friends of Hathorn House Living History Group and the Navasing Long Rifles pose on the new steps of the historic home's restored front porch on Oct. 7. The community enjoyed seeing lifestyles of the 18th century and admired the exterior repairs accomplished by owners Sylwia Kubasiak and Arek Kwapinski. John Hathorn, Warwick’s Revolutionary War militia leader, and his wife, Elizabeth Welling Hathorn, built the stone house in 1773 by John and his wife, Elizabeth Welling Hathorn. John held many public offices and served on the first Congress of the United States. For more information about the Living History Group, email hathornhouse@gmail.com.
