ROCK TAVERN — Would you like to simplify your life, save money and be “eco-friendly?”
If so, join Erica Nichols at noon on Sunday, Feb. 17, for a talk on learning to be green.
This free, informative and fun talk will take place at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Rock Tavern. It is open to all.
A mother of five, Nichols will focus on better understanding our environment, simplifying our lives, saving money and being as eco-friendly as possible.
She’ll outline what is truly recyclable and what is not, the impact of single-use plastics on the world, and how to step away from them and find replacements.
In addition, she will demonstrate do it yourself and other eco-friendly options that give back to the community.
She’ll discuss how best to start on this worthwhile endeavor and yet not be overwhelmed.
For further information contact Nichols at ericaleigh32@gmail.com. The Unitarian Universalist Congregation is located at 9 Vance Road in the New Windsor hamlet of Rock Tavern.
