WARWICK — The last chance for residents to submit a letter to the future or to a loved one for the 2017 Time Capsule will be on Friday, Oct. 13.
Residents are encouraged to participate in this once in a lifetime opportunity. Letters and photos should be placed in a #10 envelope which measures 4 1/8" by 9 1/2".
Sealed envelopes can be dropped off at the following locations in Warwick:
• Village Hall, 77 Main St.;
• Albert Wisner Public Library, 1 McFarland Drive;
• Tuscan Café, 5 South St.;
• Frazzleberries, 24 Main St.;
• Newhards, 39 Main St.;
• Etched in Time, 58 Main St.;
• Caffe A La Mode, 1 Oakland Ave.;
• Ye Olde Warwick Book Shoppe, 31 Main St.; and
• Track 7 Postal Center, 3 Forester Ave.
2067The 2017 Time Capsule, which will be opened in 2067, will be buried on Saturday, Oct. 14, at 4 p.m. in Veterans Memorial Park, located at 60 Forester Ave. in Warwick.
The funds to purchase the new capsule were donated by the Warwick Valley Rotary Club.
Everyone is welcome to attend a brief ceremony in the park. A group photo will be taken of the Trustees of the 2017 Time Capsule.
