Knights of Columbus: Thanks to the 'generosity of the Warwick Community'
On Saturday, Dec. 15, the Warwick Valley Knights of Columbus held their seventh annual Breakfast with Santa at St. Stephen-St. Edward School Gym in Warwick.
More than 150 children, along with their families, enjoyed a breakfast that included waffles, sausage and potatoes.
As they have in past years, the Shoprite of Warwick generously donated the food for the event.
Volunteers from the Knights, family members, the Women’s Sodality and the youth of the parish all helped to make the breakfast a tremendous success.
The toys for the breakfast were donated by the Catholic Institute of the Food Industry and ESM Ferolie and their employees.
Chris Rosado from Allen Christopher Professional Photography Software once again donated his time and service to provide a free photo with Santa for each child.
Co-chairs of the Breakfast with Santa Bob Long and Ernie Nitschke, along with Grand Knight Lloyd VanDuzer would like to give special thanks to St. Stephen Pastor, the Rev. Jack Arlotta, St. Stephen-St. Edward School Principal Bethany Negersmith, School Secretary Jill Lewis and Custodian Rich Held for their support and help to make the event so special.
The Knights also would like to thank the generosity of the Warwick community for their donations to the annual Christmas for Kids Toy Drive. The toys collected all went to local children in need that might not otherwise receive a toy this Christmas.
