Jen Metzger to hold rally for women’s rights with Reproductive Health Act sponsor on Oct. 7

WARWICK — On Sunday, Oct. 7, Jen Metzger, Democratic nominee for New York’s 42nd State Senate district, will rally with pro-choice leaders in support of women’s health and reproductive rights in light of the Kavanaugh hearing and the nationwide #metoo movement.
Robin Chappelle Golston, president of Planned Parenthood Empire State Votes PAC, will announce the organization's endorsement of Metzger.
State Senator Liz Krueger also will speak on the Reproductive Health Act, her bill to codify Roe v. Wade into state law.
Orange County Democratic Women President Willa Freiband will emcee, and local women who protested at the Kavanaugh hearing in D.C. will share their stories.
This event will take place from 12:30 TO 1:30 p.m. at the Railroad Green in Warwick and members of the public are invited to attend.
