It’s 'Curtains' for Warwick Valley High School

WARWICK — The Warwick Valley High School Drama Club, under the direction of Noreen Hanson, will presenting the Tony Award-winning musical whodunit, "Curtains" by Rupert Holmes at the Theatre at the Warwick Valley High School on Friday, March 7, at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, March 8 at 2 and 7:30 p.m.
The last show written by legendary composers John Kander and Fred Ebb (they wrote "Chicago" and "Cabaret"), the murder mystery musical comedy features a catchy, toe-tapping score performed by a live pit orchestra conducted by Chris Persad and large-scale musical productions, choreographed by Arianna Henry.
The plot
Hilarity ensues backstage in a Boston Theatre in 1959 during previews of the show within a show, "Robbin’ Hood! A New Musical of the Old West," when the big name, no-talent star dies during the final number.
The death is investigated by musical theatre buff, Detective Frank Cioffi, who not only investigates the murder, but also assists in revamping the show during a cast sequester.
