Independent custom home dealer receives national sales achievement

WARWICK — Pennsylvania-based Timberhaven Log & Timber Homes has awarded Fred Krol of Log Chips and Timber-Solutions (a division of Log Chips), the top selling National Sales Achievement Award for 2018.
Krol is an independent dealer in Warwick and has served the local market as a custom home dealer for more than 26 years.
“Since 1993, we have built a solid reputation on integrity, dependability, craftsmanship and commitment to service," Krol said in the press release announcing the award. "We guide our clients through each step of the process from inception to Certificate of Occupancy. Since then, we have helped hundreds of families design and build their dream homes."

Glenmere Events CenterKrol’s pinnacle project in 2018 was the Glenmere Events Center - a 11,000 square foot, two-story cathedral Post & Beam structure situated on the Glenmere Mansion property.
The events center’s footprint is 76 feet by 146 feet, featuring two 44-foot wide heavy timber trusses.
Each truss required 16 steel gusset plates fastened to the timbers by 130 seven inch bolts to secure the pre-cut timber joinery.
The collective weight of the 10 trusses, steel plates and bolts is equivalent to approximately 12 tons.
A grand porch entry and four 6-foot by 10-foot custom barn doors were also incorporated.
The building components were delivered on nine separate trucks.
While still under construction, the Glenmere Events Center is scheduled to open its doors later this spring.
