Veterans from the Hudson Valley Honor Flight Mission #19 set up for a photo op in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., on Saturday afternoon, April 14. Hudson Valley Honor Flight is a nonprofit organization which “Honors American Veterans” for all their sacrifices. The group transports these heroes to Washington, D.C., to visit their memorials at no cost to them. Priority is given to those of the Greatest Generation, that of World War II, and terminally ill veterans from other wars. The group plans to take all veterans from other wars on future flights.
