Hospice spring gala raises $114,000

NEWBURGH — Spring was welcomed at the Hospice Showers to Flowers Spring Gala at Anthony’s Pier 9 on April 2, where 325 guests came to honor Jill and Ron Barton and Barton Chevrolet Cadillac for their years of dedication to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties.
The words of our honorees were touching as they expressed their personal feelings about the recent loss of their moms, who both received hospice care. Their gratefulness was evident for the caring, comfort and compassion that hospice provided for their family.
The gala committee, chaired by Rachelle Klugman and Susan Supak along with an outstanding committee, did an amazing job of providing a wonderful evening for all to enjoy under the leadership of Events Director Gloria Alisandrella.
Due to the continued support of our auction donors, sponsors and supporters, the Hospice annual gala continues to be a huge success. This year’s event netted the organization more than $114,000.
