Hospice hosts volunteer training beginning Sept. 10

MIDDLETOWN — Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties Inc. will host a five-session training program for volunteers interested in providing companionship and/or caregiver relief along with other areas of volunteering within our organization.

The training will be held at the Town of Wallkill Community Center, 8 Wes Warren Drive, Middletown, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the following Mondays: Sept. 10, 17, 24 and Oct. 1.
On Oct. 8, the training is located at the Hospice Administrative Building, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh.

Once the prospective volunteer has graduated from the training, support can be provided in the geographic location in which they reside.
