Milk bottles at your door step
Moore Dairy owner Patrick Gonzales, who has been in the milk business for the past seven years, recently was a guest on WTBQ's Frank Truatt Morning Show with co-host and Station Manager Taylor Sterling. Gonzales was explaining his new venture in being your local milkman by having milk and other dairy products delivered directly to your doorstep as they did generations ago by even using old fashion milk bottles.

WTBQ broadcasts from Warwick and serves Orange County, Sullivan County, Northern New Jersey and parts of Pennsylvania along with being streamed nationwide.

And that day Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus was listening to WTBQ on his way into the station to do his weekly roundtable show. He was so impressed with Gonzales that when he arrived, he invited him to appear on his show with guest Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler on May 18.

Following his appearance on the County Executive's show, Neuhaus presented Gonzales with a certificate of recognition and congratulated him on his entrepreneurial spirit.

'Follow your passion'
That same day Jim Mezzetti of Myles Financial Services also presented Gonzales with a membership in the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Both Mezzetti and Sterling are members of the Chamber's board of directors.

"WTBQ's mantra is shop locally," said Sterling, "and what better way than to support a young man who at 27 gave up a lucrative job as an iron steel worker in New York City to follow his passion, delivering farm fresh products to all our communities. This young man is what our country and this county has been built on and hopefully others will get the message, which is follow your passion and the money will come.
