WARWICK — Warwick Valley Gardeners member Camille Tanzella explained that the red ribbons atop the evergreens by the Welcome to Warwick sign are to celebrate the season, particularly Valentine's Day.
"Think of it is the gardeners sending love to the community," she said.
The sign area, at the intersection of Forester Avenue and Galloway Road (Route 17A) is one of seven community gardens in Warwick that are maintained by the Warwick Valley Gardeners.
Established in 1992, the club is a member the Federated Garden Clubs of New York State, Inc. and the National Council of State Garden Clubs.
