Happy anniversary!

— The new three-room sun-drenched suite is designed to create an inviting atmosphere and uplifting experience.

Last Thursday, Dec. 4, Mayor Michael Newhard and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined owner Laura Mignone and members of her team for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the recent expansion and second anniversary of Capelli Salon and Spa Boutique.

Raising the bar
By moving from Suite 1C on the South Street side of the historic Demerest Building, 28 Railroad Ave., in the Village of Warwick, to Suite 2A, Mignone hopes to realize her vision to raise the bar by maintaining a clean and green environment to create a unique salon where visitors and clients look forward to their next visit.

"It's one thing to say no perfume and all natural, but it's another matter altogether to boast serious and obvious results offered by the more chemically free and natural based hair care, skin care, cosmetics and treatments," said Mignone, a longtime hair stylist and salon veteran, educator and consultant. "Our products are natural and organic, free from harmful chemicals, and in the day to day application, are equally competitive and in most instances just a healthier choice with better results."

Mignone has been a licensed cosmetologist since 1979.

The artistic team of eight at Capelli offers designer haircuts, artistic hair color, blow-dry and braid bar, updo, hair/scalp treatments, skin care facials, hair removal, brow bar, makeup applications and tutorial, natural manicures/pedicures and massage therapy.

"We do what we love, and love what we do," said Mignone.
