GWL Lions contribute to youth activities

Greenwood Lake Lions Club Treasurer Gus Hartig presented Mayor and fellow Lion Jesse Dwyer with two checks on June 20. One check, for $1,500, will sponsor the village’s youth/ children’s component to the summer concert series, and the other, a check for $4,300, will be used to pay for the new little league fence at Francis Field. “The Lion’s Club has had a long history of supporting youth activities in this community,” the mayor said, “and it gives me great pride to see this great organization continuing with such an active role in sponsoring youth development and activities.”
