GREENWOOD LAKE — Last month, the Greenwood Lake Public Library asked animal advocate and pet lover Carolann Puzio, who is also a certified therapy dog handler, to lead a program dubbed “Puppy Love.”

At this program, Puzio presented tips on how to use positive and fun training techniques to set your dog up for success and to create harmony in your home with your canine companion.

Puzio was assisted by her dog Rocky, a certified therapy dog with Therapy Dogs International, and “Parmigiano Reggiano (Reggie) Corrado,” a registered service animal beginning to Kelly Corrado, library’s coordinator of adult services, special programs, publicity, and promotions.

“Of course, Rocky and Reggie showed off by doing a multitude of tricks from Rocky kneeling down to say his bedtime prayers to Reggie clapping his paws to the song, ‘If you’re happy and you know it clap your hands,’” Corrado said in the press release about the program. “ They both loved all the attention and applause they received from the audience.”
