GREENWOOD LAKE — The Greenwood Lake Public Library has been awarded a $1,250 grant from the New York State Council on the Arts’ Decentralization Program administered by Arts in Orange.

The application was submitted by Kelly Corrado, the library’s coordinator of adult services.

The grant will fund the library’s new “Explore the Arts @ Your Library” Project for adults in 2013 spearheaded by Corrado.

The project will include visual and literary arts programming featured in the library’s StudioTime art instruction series returning this spring, as well as the Writers’ Club creative writing series scheduled for this fall. Both StudioTime and Writers’ Club are led by local, award-winning artists and writers.
