Greenwood Lake. Police to host bicycle safety program for kids on May 15

May is National Bicycle Safety Month and to celebrate the Greenwood Lake Police Department is hosting a bicycle program on Saturday, May 15, from noon to 2 p.m., that includes bicycle registration, safety education, obstacle course and a free bicycle raffle.

This free event will be held at police headquarters located at 16 Church St. in the village.

The program is intended for children 12 and under who are already riding a bike or just learning to ride a two-wheel bike. Bikes with training wheels are welcome.

Helmets are required to participate and will be provided free of charge if a child does not have one.

Snacks and water will be provided.
