Greenwood Lake celebrates the Fourth

On Saturday, July 8, Greenwood Lake celebrated the 4th of July beginning with a parade. The Greenwood Lake American Legion Arthur Finnegan Post 1443 Color Guard led the parade, followed by Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Elks Club, Fire Department, Ambulance Corps, Gaelic Cultural Society, GWL Soccer Club, Project Children, military vehicles and others. On Saturday evening, fire works filled the sky above the lake as people watched from their boats or at the Thomas Morahan Waterfront Park.
