Greenwood Lake Bagels to host 'Coffee with a Cop' event on Dec. 9
GREENWOOD LAKE — Greenwood Lake Bagels, Inc. will host “Coffee with a Cop“ event on Saturday, Dec. 9, from 9 to 11 a.m. at its 93 Windermere Ave. location.
Community members can meet with Greenwood Lake Police Officers Leanne Malara and Daniel Jones over a free cup of coffee to discuss local community issues and concerns.
“We are excited to host events, like Coffee with a Cop, that bring our community closer together," said Christine Moley, co-owner of Greenwood Lake Bagels, Inc. “This is an opportunity for our friends and neighbors to casually meet with local police officers to build stronger community connections.”
Coffee with a Cop started in 2011 in California and the events quickly spread across the nation as they gave citizens the opportunity to meet with and get to know their local police officers in an informal setting to discuss community issues and concerns.
This is the first of several Coffee with a Cop events that Greenwood Lake Bagels is planning to host in the upcoming months.
Greenwood Lake Bagels, Inc., is a privately-held bagel shop, bakery and deli. The company prides itself on sourcing most of its products from the local community, the Hudson Valley and New York.
