Greater Hudson Valley Health System seeks participation for assessment

MIDDLETOWN — The Greater Hudson Valley Health System (GHVHS) and its member hospitals, Catskill Regional Medical Center and Orange Regional Medical Center, are conducting a Community Health Needs Assessment to support individual and collaborative community health improvement activities.

The GHVHS has partnered with Holleran, an independent research and consulting firm, to conduct research, tabulate results and prepare a findings report. The purpose of the needs assessment is to identify and prioritize our community’s healthcare needs so that the GHVHS can develop strategies and implementation plans that most benefit the public.

On behalf of the GHVHS, Holleran will host four survey sessions beginning on June 11. Sessions will last approximately 90 minutes. Individual results will be kept confidential and anonymous. Light refreshments will be served and a $50 cash incentive will be offered to qualified participants ages 18 and older.

For Sullivan County residents, there are two survey sessions scheduled for Tuesday, June 11 at Bernie’s, located at 277 Rock Hill Drive, Rock Hill. The first session starts at 4:30 p.m.; the second session starts at 7 p.m.

For Orange County residents, there are two survey sessions on Wednesday, June 12, at the Hampton Inn, located at 20 Crystal Run Crossing, Middletown. The first session begins at 4:30 p.m.; the second session begins at 7 p.m.
