WARWICK — The weather cooperated and huge crowds came out to enjoy the annual Great American Ski and Snowboard Sale at Mount Peter on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 20-21.
The sale on new merchandise was run by consultants from Ski Barn, who filled Mount Peter's Sunrise Lodge with equipment, clothing and accessories at heavy discounts.
This year there was also live musical entertainment, face painting and pumpkin painting as well as an open Hot Spot Grill and chair lift rides.
There is also an early rate for multi-week lessons for children and adults, which is about to expire. Sign up by Nov. 4.
