Grace Community, WFEL, and Greystone help meet back-to-school needs in our community

WARWICK — As students in Warwick returned to school this past week, Grace Community Church, the Warwick Foundation for Excellence in Learning, and Greystone Programs were busy preparing for their return.
Over the last few weeks, the Warwick congregation of Grace Community Church has been collecting school supplies and backpacks to assist families in our community who struggle to provide these necessary items at the start of the school year.
Last week, alongside Greystone Programs, who occupy Kings Elementary School as tenants, members of the Warwick Foundation for Excellence in Learning and Grace Community Church assembled 35 backpacks for students in need.
These items were delivered to Park Avenue Elementary this past Thursday, on the first day of school.
This year marks the third annual effort by Grace Community Church to assist with back-to-school supply needs, with more than 150 kids and families having benefitted from this effort in these three years.
