The Golden Floridians Senior Club and its members have enjoyed a variety of celebrations of late. In February, the club held a Valentine’s Day luncheon featuring pizza and salad, where they honored member Evarist LeMay on his 90th birthday. Additionally, this year the Club celebrated its Leap Day birthday member, Marilyn Monks, who turned 23 years young!

March began with the Club’s 18th anniversary, paying tribute to original members, including its first president, Jane Resch. St. Patrick’s Day was marked by a festive luncheon of corned beef and cabbage with all the trimmings, and also included special congratulations to Leon Pianka on his 89th birthday.

The Golden Floridians meet every Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at the Senior Center, located on Cohen Circle in the village of Florida. Seniors aged 55 and over from Warwick — including the villages of Florida, Greenwood Lake, and Warwick — are invited to join this vibrant and friendly group of men and women.
