Godspell Jr.

The Warwick Reformed Church plays host to the musical, “Godspell Jr.,” on Friday evening, July 19, at 7 p.m., and on Saturday, July 20, at 2 p.m. The program is free, although donations will be accepted to benefit local charities. The play, which features the hit song, Day by Day," is based on the parables of Christ as found in the Gospel of Matthew. Drawing from various theatrical traditions, such as clowning, pantomime, charades, acrobatics and vaudeville, Godspell Jr. is a reflection on the life of Jesus, with a message of kindness, tolerance and love.
