Glenmere announces new spa director with a 'January Special' celebration

CHESTER —Glenmere Mansion has announced the appointment of Loretta Taylor as spa director for the Spa at Glenmere Mansion. Taylor comes to Glenmere with a wealth of expertise in the hospitality and wellness industry where she is acknowledged as a leader in the field of skin care and wellness.

Taylor’s commitment to excellence and 5-star service gained her recognition as a chief executive for some of the world’s most prestigious spas in the United States. Her broad background in operations, leadership and sales has contributed to the immense success for some of the country’s most renowned spas including both the Helena Rubinstein Spa in New York City (the flagship spa for L’Oreal USA) and for Georgette Klinger, the namesake-founder and skin care pioneer who launched one of the most important skin care enterprises in the world. At one time, Georgette Klinger‘s skin care business included 10 salons in prime cities across the country under Taylor’s direction. She won numerous awards for her salons, including having the Helena Rubinstein Spa in New York City named the number one spa in Manhattan by New York Magazine.

Prior to joining the Spa at Glenmere Mansion, Taylor was director of Spa Operations at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in upstate New York where she headed the wellness program for two spas and a fitness club. The spa was the recipient of the Spa Finder’s Readers Choice Award for five consecutive years. Additionally, she was spa director and general manager at one of the leading resorts in the United States, the Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino in Norwich, Conn.
