— Nearly 200 women came together for Girls’ Night Out, a popular fund-raising event for women’s health services at St. Anthony Community Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth). It was held at Palacio Catering & Conference Center in Goshen.
Girls Night Out, which raised nearly $30,000, featured a shopping suite that included raffle baskets along with more than a dozen unique vendors and health and beauty experts.
Keynote speaker, Dr. Emily Gordon, internal medicine physician at Bon Secours Medical Group, kicked off the dinner portion of the evening with a presentation on women’s health, followed by comedian Robin Fox.
Girls Night Out was hosted by the Bon Secours Warwick Healthcare Foundation. Co-chairs Terry Quint and Barbara Sullivan, members of the Foundation Board of Directors, along with a committee of 11 hospital staff and community members, were thrilled with the inaugural event.
“Girls Night Out exceeded our expectations on every level, from fund raising to ‘friend-raising.’ We want to thank everyone who made this night successful,” said Sullivan.
Quint added: “We are most grateful for the overwhelming generosity of our hospital community.”
Girls’ Night Out fund-raising celebrations are hosted by WMCHealth for member hospitals across the Hudson Valley, including Good Samaritan Hospital; Westchester Medical Center; and MidHudson Regional Hospital.
