Galleria at Crystal Run to Hold First Annual Toy Drive Celebration for Salvation Army

Each Holiday season, the Galleria at Crystal Run bills itself as having the #SeasonsBiggestGifts. This year is no exception, but this time, the Galleria is asking you to add one more name to your list.
Who's name? Whoever's you take from the Salvation Army's Angel Tree. Dozens of presents have already been donated, but on December 15, the Galleria hopes to collect just as many in a single day, with its Holiday Toy Drive Celebration.
Held in the Galleria's Center Court from 1:00pm-3:00pm and hosted by Jamal Battle of Battle Entertainment, the event will feature a DJ and break dancing performances by the Famous B-Boy Break Dancers.
“The idea is to draw as much foot traffic as possible to the event, then encourage people to take a name from the tree,” said Ethan Weber, the Galleria's marketing director. How does the Angel Tree work? It's simple: Take an angel from the tree. The tag tells you the name and age of the girl or boy you've chosen. Then, buy an age-appropriate present, and return it to the Salvation Army's collection area in front of the Galleria Management Office, located at the rear of the Food Court and to the left.
So join the Galleria and the Salvation Army for an afternoon of music and dancing and a visit to the Angel Tree. Take an angel, buy a present, and make a child's Christmas morning!
