Free rabies shots for area dogs, cats and ferrets on May 20

    — The Town of Woodbury Animal Shelter, in conjunction with the Orange County Department of Health, will hold a free rabies clinic for all Orange County residents on Sunday, May 20, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Woodbury Highway Garage at 24 Route 205 in Highland Mills.
    Free shots will be given to dogs, cats and ferrets.
    If previous proof of vaccination is provided, then a three year shot will be given. Otherwise, a one year shot will be given to all animals.
    Pets must be restrained by leash or in a pet carrier, according to the town.
