Free fall

When editors first saw this photograph from Robert G. Breese, they imaged him lying on the ground beneath a tree and waiting patiently for just the right moment to capture the picture. We were wrong. Here’s how Breese said he came upon this photo: “Here is a interesting one. This leaf looks like it is free-falling from the branches above, but it had actually already landed on my windshield this way when I took the picture at ShopRite parking lot in Warwick.” Some people are lucky. And some people are lucky and have really clean windshields.
