Forum for GWL mayoral candidates

GREENWOOD LAKE — The Times Herald-Record is sponsoring a forum for the candidates running for the office of Greenwood Lake mayor on Friday, Feb. 22, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Greenwood Lake Elementary School, located at 80 Waterstone Road.

The candidates are Barbara Moore, the incumbent mayor, and Jesse Dwyer, a village trustee. The mayoral term is two years.

The election is March 19.
The forum will be moderated by Dare Thompson, president of the League of Women Voters of the Mid-Hudson Region.

Audience members will have an opportunity to submit questions to be asked of the candidates.

The event is free and open to all.
