Forever Jewelers moves next door to larger quarters

WARWICK — When Moshe Schwartzberg and his daughter Sarah, owners of Forever Jewelers, learned the large retail space next to their Main Street store, the former home of Silken Wool Gifts and Home Furnishings, would become vacant, they seized the opportunity to move into the larger quarters. It would allow them to increase inventory and services.
On Tuesday, Aug. 21, Town of Warwick Deputy Supervisor James Gerstner and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce, joined Moshe and Sarah Schwartzberg and members of their family and staff for an official grand opening at the new location at 36 Main St.
In 2001, Moshe Schwartzberg, who had established the jewelry business in 1990, purchased the building, which offered both prime retail spaces.
The original store at 38 Main Street will soon be home to Nobel Pies, which will continue to bake its goods at its current location, 121 Route 94 South.
Forever Jewelers features fine jewelry with a strong emphasis on engagement rings and wedding bands appealing to many tastes and budgets. In addition to selling jewelry, the store also provides jewelry and watch repair, custom design, engraving and appraisal services.
Inspired by the additional space, the owners added the Swiss watch brand Movado and several new lines of sterling silver jewelry including Lafonn, Officina Bernardi and Frederic Duclos.
The expansion has also provided for additional on-site services such as engraving, simple soldering and rhodium plating.
“The addition of our Signature Engravers engraving matching,” said Moshe Schwartzberg, “allows us to engrave on metal or glass plus the inside rings and bangles.”
He added that with the addition of new products Forever Jewelers can provide items that are unique, beautiful and affordable.
“Because of the huge surge in metal prices over the past several years, particularly gold,” he said, “there is a new demand for high quality sterling silver jewelry. We saw the trend early on and feel we offer a very diverse collection for our customers.”
