Florida Florida Chamber awards scholarships to Natalya Camacho, Grace Kohl and Angela Squillace

    The Chamber of Commerce in Florida is proud to announce the three graduating S.S. Seward Institute seniors who are the recipients of this year’s scholarship awards:
    Natalya Camacho
    Natalya has been involved with the BOCES Workplace Learning Program, volunteers and participates at Winslow Therapeutic Riding Facility in Warwick and has been involved with basketball, swimming, bowling and track. She will be attending the Bridges Program at SUNY Orange in Middletown.
    Grace Kohl
    Grace has been involved with the business/STEM program. She was chosen to be the high school intern at the corporate office of ShopRite and has participated in two semester classes in the new program of Virtual High School that included personal finance and college prep. She has played volleyball for three years, including two years as a member of the varsity.
    Grace will be attending SUNY Albany.
    Angela Squillace
    Angela has participated in Spanish Club for three years, is a member of the National Honor Society and is currently the Secretary of the Youth in Government Club. She has been a member of Youth in Government for four years.
    She has received the President’s Award for Academic Achievement and the Sojourner Truth Memorial Scholarship . She also has volunteered in local kindergarten classes, performed community service at S.S. Seward Institute and worked summers at a paid internship.
    Angela has been a member of the soccer and basketball teams and was co-captain of the junior varsity basketball team.
    She will be attending Howard University in Washington, D.C.
    "We salute all of our students, congratulate our winners and wish everyone continued success," chamber officials said in the press release announcing the scholarship winners.
