First snowfall of the season blankets Warwick area

WARWICK — On Saturday, Dec. 9, what the National Weather Service had predicted would be more to the east delivered four to six inches of snow in the higher elevations surrounding Warwick.
It was the first snowfall this year which ushered in the winter season and gave promise that there might be a white Christmas.
