First snow

The first major snowstorm of the season on Wednesday, December 27, followed by another snowfall on Saturday, December 29, marked the beginning of winter for the Warwick area. Although an inconvenience for some travelers and snowbound residents, it was picturesque and offered families an opportunity, not available last year, for sleigh riding at Warwick’s Stanley-Deming Park.
